Job Description:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Skin Integrity will be responsible for overseeing and treating residents with various wounds and ulcers. This role involves collaborating with physicians to create treatment plans, administering wound care treatments, and maintaining thorough documentation of residents' progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assess all residents with wounds and pressure ulcers
- Assess and consult for all residents with skin integrity issues as needed
- Collaborate with physicians to develop a plan of treatment
- Administer wound care treatments to residents
- Document progress and changes in the condition of residents' skin
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in a clinical/nursing area of study required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- 1 years of experience in a clinical/nursing setting within the geriatric industry
- Outstanding customer services and bedside manner
