Job Title: Part-time Certified Nurses Aide
The Village at Mercy Creek, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community in Normal, IL. We are an Assisted Living Community, with a Memory Care Unit coming soon.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans and established community policies and procedures.
- Assist residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
- Assist with dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up, clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
- Monitor the residents' physical and cognitive wellbeing and report changes to the nurse and supervisor.
- Deliver nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and provide resident assistance as needed to ensure intake.
- Document intake per community policy/procedure.
- Participate in life enrichment programming and providing meaningful activities to residents.
- Document resident care timely and accurately.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Certification may be required depending on state regulations.
- 1 years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.
