Position Overview
The Sales and Marketing Director (SMD) will play a critical role in driving the growth of our community by managing daily operations related to sales, marketing, and business development. This key position will lead the implementation of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan and develop innovative marketing strategies to enhance our brand visibility and prestige. The SMD will ensure a steady stream of high-quality sales leads while evaluating the success of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Management : Engage with and convert leads effectively while meeting occupancy goals. Maintain high productivity and compliance within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity.
- Customer Experience : Oversee the entire customer journey from initial engagement to admission, ensuring effective communication with associates, families, and healthcare partners.
- Marketing Oversight : Design and execute a strategic annual sales and marketing plan, including various outreach efforts like direct mail, events, and digital initiatives.
- Collaboration : Work with the Creative Services Team to craft marketing materials that highlight our community's mission and services.
- Resource Management : Ensure the community is equipped with up-to-date marketing tools and collateral.
- Business Development : Utilize market insights to inform strategic decisions and promote our services to new clients and referral sources.
- Community Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to enhance business development opportunities.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market segmentation and make recommendations for service enhancements and new programs.
- Department Management : Supervise the Sales and Marketing Department, evaluate team performance annually, and develop coaching plans as needed.
- Reporting : Prepare marketing and sales reports for the community and Home Office support.
- Budget Management : Assist in developing the departmental budget and managing resources effectively.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is required.
Experience : 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally within the Senior Housing industry.
Skills : Exceptional communication abilities; a talent for connecting with residents, families, and staff in a meaningful way.
Travel : Occasional travel for off-site events may be required.
