Position Overview:The Director of Marketing will spearhead and optimize our digital and traditional marketing strategies, collaborating closely with our Digital and PR agencies to enhance performance, consistency, and innovation. This role will oversee organic and paid initiatives across all platforms, ensure a cohesive guest experience, and drive brand growth through data-driven decision-making. This role will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with FPDC Board Members and the Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital and Traditional Marketing StrategyCreate, execute, and continually optimize marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels to boost brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
Manage and optimize all digital assets, including the website, Google My Business (GMB), social media channels, search engine marketing (SEM), and display advertising.Performance-Driven Campaign Management
Oversee organic and paid digital campaigns across social media, SEM, email, SMS marketing, influencer partnerships, and display advertising, with a strong focus on maximizing ROI.
Work closely with agencies to oversee, coordinate, produce and manage all content creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and objectives.
Quarterly and Annual Marketing CalendarsDevelop and manage quarterly and annual marketing calendars that integrate seasonal promotions, new offerings, and special events, ensuring alignment with the restaurant's brand objectives.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional LeadershipCollaborate closely with the Director of Information Systems/Project Manager to support the technological requirements of digital campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Work in partnership with the Digital and PR agencies to ensure a cohesive brand message and optimize all aspects of each campaign.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and growth.
Data Analysis and Optimization
Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance metrics, implementing data-driven adjustments to maximize outcomes.
Conducted market research to identify new trends, provide customer insights, and perform competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
Brand Consistency and Innovation
Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints while fostering innovative ideas to enhance engagement and retention.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Over 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on digital and traditional strategies.Ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment while successfully managing and executing multiple projects on time.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in digital marketing analytics tools.Experience with loyalty and rewards programs is preferred.Exceptional written/verbal communication, proofreading and copy-editing skills.Demonstrated success in managing cross-channel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.Ability to build rapport with executive leaders and staff within all levels of the organization.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team.Experience collaborating and negotiating contracts with various agencies.Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
