JOB PURPOSE : To offer a level of service that exceeds guest expectations and establishes or maintains a positive and productive relationship both within the organization and with guests. To provide management guidance to Head Guards and Lifeguards to maintain a high level of performance in waterpark operations and safety.
JOB SUMMARY : Manages team members; achieves operational objectives; maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment for guests and team members.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor; American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid & CPRO certified. Degree in Recreation Management or Hospitality preferred.
Experience : Must have previous experience in pool, spa, and aquatic attraction operations OR strong experience in managing teams; a minimum of two seasons of Lifeguarding preferred. Must have excellent swimming skills, plus skill in rescue techniques and procedures, first aid application and CPR.
Knowledge : Must have knowledge of Bavarian Inn Lodge safety operations.
General : Must be in good physical and mental condition, and maintain professional work-related practices - safety, alertness, dependability, responsibility, initiative, tact, courteousness, common sense, good judgement, cleanliness, maturity, endurance, and the ability to work with all ages.
HOURS : FULL TIME : 45 Hours Per Week / 5-6 Days Per Week
Hours of work will be any variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
