What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil CAD Designer position at Franklin A&E, LLC?
Regency Design & Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our Civil/Site Engineering team. The right candidate for this position will bring technical knowledge and a driven work ethic to add to our team by providing exceptional client service and a professional work product.
Key responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Conceptual Plan Preparation;
- Construction Document Preparation from preliminary through final design, including Preliminary Plan/Plat, Horizontal Control, Grading, Utilities, Profiles and General Notes and Details;
- Construction Document organization and file management from beginning to end with limited supervision;
- Quality Control of Construction Document Packages;
- Vehicle Tracking Analysis; and Upkeep and adherence with company CAD Standards
Relevant Experience Required includes the following:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) with skills including grading, stormwater and utility pipe networks and profiles;
- 4 years of experience in public and/or private work such as roads, water and sewer projects, and site infrastructure;
- Conceptual Plan Preparation;
- Managing multiple drawings and projects at the same time;
- Understanding of complex engineering plans and specifications prepared by others;
- Identification of alternatives to assist with the resolution of design issues as they arise;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Developing Construction Documents for Land Development projects from conceptual through final design
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.88 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
