What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Inside Sales and Technical Support position at Franklin Armory Inc?
Franklin Armory® is expanding and in need of a full-time Customer Service Assistant / Inside Sales and Technical Support person.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing Customers with Exceptional Service in a fast-paced environment
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails
- Answering product questions
- Technical Support
- Inside sales to dealers
- Updating dealer information
- Updating our website with the most current information
- Assisting the Sales and Marketing team on projects as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- A positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail are required
- Able to type at least 35 WPM
- Comfortable interacting with customers on a regular basis
- Existing knowledge base with AR platform firearms
- Knowledge of other firearm platforms is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Filing of sensitive items
- Making and adapting to changes on the fly
- Previous military and law enforcement is a plus
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check
- Must be able to possess a firearm under Nevada and Federal law
- Must pass a drug test
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office365.
- Must be able to use 10 Key Calculator, Keying 35 WPM and general office equipment
Physical Demands:
- Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
- Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work outside and inside, around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts. Frequent exposure to fumes, dust, and noise
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs
Work Environment:
- Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness
- Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records
- Work performed in a shop and office environment
- Must be present in regular attendance and have a flexible work schedule
- Ensures compliance with legal and company ordinances in his/her areas of responsibility
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
- Keeps his/her standard of knowledge up-to-date in his/her area of responsibility through continuing education measures
