Franklin County Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a full-time front Office Medical Receptionist/Office Assistant for Family Medical Group Clinic.
Applicant must have:
- Clerical and clinical experience and be proficient in the operation of a computer and other office equipment.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, co-workers and the public.
- The ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- The ability to greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, be punctual and should be customer service driven.
- Experience in a Clinic setting preferred.
Greets patients and registers them with current, accurate demographic information. Answers telephones, triages messages and schedules patients appointments/referrals. Performs patient "check in" process including registers new patients, updating of demographic and insurance information, as needed. Performs patient "check out" process including collection of payments. Assists with end of day reconciliation.
High school diploma or equivalency required. One year of office experience including phones, typing and computer skills. Medical office setting experience preferred.
Must have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
