Blocker Machine Operator 2200

Compensation: $19.15 - $20.64 / hour

Description

Responsible to separate the leads in the stator and then uses a Form Press to from the outside of the copper wires in the core.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.


• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.


• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.


• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.


• Meets daily production schedule as assigned.


• Separates the leads as required per operating instructions.


• Operates the Form Press to form the outside of the copper wires in the core.


• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).


• 6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).

Computer Skills

• 
  Basic: Ruler, Gage, Caliper, and Scale reading
