Job Summary:
The Applications Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining IT applications, systems, and infrastructure, with a strong focus on supporting financial applications. You would join an autonomous work environment where you will be empowered to own our area. This is a fully onsite position in Allen, TX for an reputable financial organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for end-users experiencing application and system issues.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to financial applications, including core banking, mortgage, and document imaging systems.
- Monitor application performance, apply updates, and ensure system uptime.
- Assist with new employee onboarding, including user account setup and access management.
- Support and maintain endpoint imaging tools, security updates, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve application-related issues.
- Maintain documentation, technical guides, and support ticket records.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and financial industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2-7 years of experience in IT support, with a preference for financial application support.
- Experience with M365, Exchange, and enterprise application support.
- Familiarity with core banking, digital banking, or mortgage applications is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates with prior experience supporting financial applications will be strongly preferred. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive IT professional who can ensure the smooth operation of critical financial systems.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
