JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance Manager has the primary responsibility of ensuring the property and compliance team is maintaining compliance as it relates to Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, etc. The Compliance Manager has the primary responsibility of ensuring the property and compliance team is maintaining compliance as it relates to Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES include the following but are not limited to:

JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance Manager has the primary responsibility of ensuring the property and compliance team is maintaining compliance as it relates to Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, etc. The Compliance Manager has the primary responsibility of ensuring the property and compliance team is maintaining compliance as it relates to Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES include the following but are not limited to:
- Conduct tenant reviews; process income and asset verifications; ensure 50059s are submitted in timely manner.
- Maintain EIV files and resolve EIV discrepancies
- Review move-in eligibility for approval.
- Ensure Tax Credit recertifications processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Organize records and maintain filing system for certification and EIV files.
- Work with compliance team to ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD and investor expectations.
- Prepare tenant documents for audits and reports; reconcile discrepancies; complete forms and other paperwork as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A solid understanding of HUD (Project Based Section 8) and LIHTC program.
- Experience in multiple program layers a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising in property management.
- 5 years’ affordable experience working at a site level or similar compliance experience.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills to work independently and as a team.
- Superior communication skills and goal oriented.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written.
