The Franklin Public Schools, a Prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled and experienced special education assistant to work at Franklin High School. The assistant will work in a model of service delivery primarily offering academic support in assigned general education classrooms. There may be opportunities for small group and individual instruction as well. Students requiring assistance and support have mild to moderate disabilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide executive functioning and positive behavior supports and academic interventions for students
Work with lead teacher to provide academic, social, and emotional support and intervention
Work collaboratively with team of general education and special education teachers and therapists
Collect and share data with special education liaison on student performance
