Forklift Operator / Warehouse Labor

The forklift operators are responsible for picking items using single/double forks and regular forks on sit-down forklifts. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, able to work with minimal direction, adaptable to changes as they arise, focused on details, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The forklift operator reports directly to the site supervisor and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that operates in multiple locations based on business needs.

• Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 5 pm
• Starting Pay $17.50 hourly
• Receive weekly pay

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Operate 5K and 12K Forklifts
• Utilize Single-Double Forks
• Load and unload trailers
• Complete Rack Put-away
• Cylinders (Kitting & Non-Kitting)
• Combi operations
• Operate Roll Clamp
• Unload stone from rail
• Receive and process shipments using RF Scanners
• Use proper handling instructions per product specifications
• Document product damages as they are identified
• General housekeeping duties in production areas
• Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
• Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1 year Warehouse Experience (preferred)
• 1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience Required
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations
• Pre-hire Drug Screening Required
• Background Screening Not Conducted
