Position Title: 7th Grade Texas History and coaching duties (Possible Head Tennis Coach)
Location: Franklin Middle School/ Franklin High School
Salary Range: Base District Stipend Coaching Stipend
Position Summary: Support the success of the FISD Instructional and Athletic programs. Teacher will work closely with the Social Studies team to implement the TEKS and other programs according to state, local and federal guidelines and procedures.
Position Requirements
Education/Certification/License: Valid Texas Certification
Experience: Experience in teaching the Social Studies curriculum.
Experience in a successful athletic program
Coaching experience preferred
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and instruction in all areas needed to run a successful athletic program.
- Provide instruction in Social Studies classroom
- Maintain orderly classroom
- Facilitate and monitor testing procedures related to instruction.
- Meet and exceed state / campus goals for student performance
- Promote mission and goals of Franklin ISD
