Department Title : Undergrad Intern - Wealth Planning

Location : The intern candidate must be able to commute into the New York City office each week.

Position Summary :

Our team provides comprehensive financial planning advice to high-net-worth families,

business owners, and entrepreneurs.

Joining us this summer means gaining an opportunity to work with experienced Personal Financial Planners, Portfolio Managers, and Estate & Trust counsel on complex wealth management, wealth transfer issues and family governance.

Team Culture :

We are a collaborative team of experienced planners who support the wider organization in presenting optimal financial solutions and strategies for a diversified client base. - CFPs, JDs, CFAs et al.

A Wealth Planning Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to gain :

• Knowledge on personal income tax and the impact on investment portfolios, retirement plans and distribution, risk management, insurance, estate and gift tax planning.
• Experience in wealth transfer / succession strategies for business owners and wealthy individuals.

Compensation Range : This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $31 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
