What You'll Be Doing:
- Launch and manage the new BDC department from scratch, with support from ownership and leadership
- Handle incoming phone calls, online inquiries, and service scheduling requests for both sales and service customers
- Create and implement scripts, response templates, appointment-setting strategies, and follow-up processes
- Monitor and improve customer response times, contact rates, and appointment show rates
- Work with Sales, Service, and Marketing departments to ensure consistent messaging and a smooth hand-off process
- Hire, train, and lead additional BDC representatives as the department grows
- Report on key performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase effectiveness
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in automotive BDC, service/sales call centers, or dealership customer service roles
- Strong organizational and communication skills — written and verbal
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Comfortable with CRM systems, phones, and digital communication tools
- Leadership potential and a desire to grow into a department management role
- High attention to detail and ability to track and manage customer touchpoints
- Passion for delivering a top-tier customer experience
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
