ID/DD Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is crucial in delivering comprehensive nursing services within our facility

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
• Monitor and record vital signs to track patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
• Perform sonography procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and infection control within the healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Experience in pediatric intensive care (PICU) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is a plus.

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
