The Scheduling Liaison will coordinate orders to the Production Schedule set by the Scheduling Manager to ensure efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with Scheduling, Customer Service, Graphics, Plant Management and other Manufacturing departments.
- Collaborates with these departments to ensure all necessary materials (Job Jackets, Plates, Raw Materials, Inks, etc….) are on hand to ensure smooth workflow.
- Organizes each Presses plate jacket racks according to the schedule and ensures the proper order is being adhered to.
- Communicates on a daily basis with the Scheduling Manager to ensure changes in schedules are noted and adjusted.
- Follows all safety rules.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of the workflow process in the plant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Extremely proficient with production planning.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, preferred.
- Related experience preferred.
- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT WORD, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK
