Job Summary:
The Construction Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets. This role involves managing sales leads that come in through marketing efforts, generating leads through cold calls, building relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for achieving results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in construction projects.
- Managing sales workflow and/or generating leads by building local relationships.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to refine strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Sales management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

We are a midsize construction company specializing in residential remodeling, new construction and light commercial throughout San Luis Obispo County. Based in San Luis Obispo, your job is to manage $100K - $1.5M construction projects from permit to completion. Attention to detail, ability to manage customers' expectations, variables regarding subcontractors, company field staff, material deliveries, and the company's record-keeping software are big parts of this position's responsibilities.
