Receptionist Position
We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented candidate to join our team as a receptionist, working the front desk.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
· Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner
· Professionally greeting clients and visitors upon arrival, directing them to the appropriate person or meeting room
· Effective and professional communication via phone and in person regarding various inquiries
Intra-Office Interaction:
· Notifying attorneys/staff when clients have arrived
· Answering and directing phone calls to the relevant attorney or staff member
· Confirming client appointments using the firm’s calendar system
· Marking appropriate conference rooms with the day’s appointments
Clerical Tasks
· Distributing documents, sending, receiving and distributing faxes, making copies and handling various other basic office tasks
· Basic data entry, as required
· Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes and call forwarding systems
· The ability to prioritize client satisfaction and provide a positive first impression
· Able to work well in a team environment
· Skilled at multitasking
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Professional demeanor and appearance
· Ability to work independently
· Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
Work Hours and Benefits:
· Part-Time (Mondays and Tuesdays, 8am – 5:15pm)
· Paid parking
The firm is located in Downtown Knoxville and a parking garage is connected to the building. A resume is required.
