Fraser Steel is located in Albertville, Minnesota – 20 miles northwest of Minneapolis on I-94 and minutes from major cross-country transportation routes. Our 80,000 square foot design and fabrication facility has over 30 major work centers. In a normal year we produce more than 2,000 unique items. Some 200,000 parts per day roll off these production centers into Fraser Steel’s “grocery store” Logistics staging area.
Experienced Tube Bender - 2nd Shift (2p-10p)
Essential Functions:
- Set up and operate the bending equipment
- Ensures efficient and productive use of bending equipment
- Ensure quality of parts produced
- Proactively prevent downtime of equipment
- Evaluates rates for obtainability and correct processes or rates as necessary
- Maintain safe work environment by following all procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering to ensure good fixtures
- Work with maintenance to ensure equipment is consistently maintained and running efficiently.
Required qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience working with a variety of bending equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
- Excellent communication abilities
- Organizational skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
