ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER
Location: Roseville, CA
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (As needed)

Frayji Design Group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative operations of our dynamic engineering firm. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with a strong background in accounting, invoicing, and administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Accounting Management:
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll, and job cost tracking.
- Prepare and manage engineering and surveying invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Process and track change orders, ensuring proper documentation and billing adjustments.
- Maintain financial records in QuickBooks with precision and attention to detail.
Contract Administration & Compliance:
- Assist in preparing and managing engineering contracts, project proposals, development agreements, and insurance documentation.
- Ensure contract compliance by monitoring key deadlines and required filings.
Administrative Oversight:
- Supervise administrative staff, provide training, and oversee daily office operations as needed.
- Coordinate scheduling, onboarding of new employees, and general administrative support.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized project files, templates, and document repositories.
Client & Office Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients when dealing with contracts and change orders, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Answer incoming calls, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings as needed.
- Assist with office organization, including scheduling, supply management, and workspace upkeep as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format reports, specifications, and technical documents.
- Assist with HR-related functions, including benefits administration, employee manual updates, and labor law policy compliance.
- Update project schedules and coordinate document control as needed.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Experience in QuickBooks (engineering industry experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Background in engineering office operations, invoicing, and job cost tracking are highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
