Full Job Description: Bookkeeper – Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

Salary: $68,000 - $72,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role:

We are a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth in need. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions, payroll, reporting, and compliance. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with the option for some days to be work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger
• Process semi-monthly payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reports
• Facilitate annual audits and collaborate with external financial partners
• Track funds, process invoices, and manage donor acknowledgments
• Oversee county contracts and billing
• Prepare financial reports for leadership and the board
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and financial regulations

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least two years of experience in bookkeeping or a finance-related role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and Google Docs
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
