Job Title: Human Resource and Payroll Coordinator
Location: Moorpark, CA
Full-Time Position with On-Site Work and 1 Remote Workday per Week
Salary Range: $54,000 - $71,000 per Year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Coordinator to support our team. In this role, you will process payroll, ensure compliance with labor laws, and assist with key HR functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, modifications, and terminations.
- Evaluate and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as tax regulations.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to schedule interviews and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Contribute to the development and revision of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate documentation for audits and recordkeeping purposes.
- Oversee leave management, including tracking vacation, sick leave, and other absences.
- Work closely with the finance and HR teams to ensure the accuracy of payroll and HR data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing and HR functions.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS software.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
