Financial aspects of business operations.
Knowledge of current labor laws.
Programming and troubleshooting POS systems.

Abilities:
Create, innovate, and improve craft cocktails with seasonal rotating flavors and inventory.
Lawfully and physically able to perform daily quality control and sampling of alcoholic beverages.
Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects greater than 50 lbs; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs/ladders; reach and grasp objects.
Must be comfortable being on your feet, standing, walking, or moving briskly for hours at a time.
Required to work late nights and weekends.
Must be comfortable in a loud environment.
Provide proof of valid US work authorization.
Minimum Experience:
3 years experience as a Bar Manager or General Manager in a full-service dining establishment, bar, or brewery.
5 years working in a restaurant or bar environment.
High-school degree required - college degree preferred.
Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
Required certifications :
ServSafe certification required.
TIPS or alcohol awareness certification required.
Our Bar Manager reports directly to ownership and works closely with other leadership positions within our organization to complete tasks such as:
Managing the tap room and spirits lounge :
Directly manages the tap room and spirits lounge staff and ensures operational procedures are being adhered to.
Hires, trains, and evaluates front of house staff performance, in addition to addressing concerns and resolving problems.
Controls day-to-day operations such as profit & loss by following cash control, security procedures, reviewing financial reports, and reporting findings.
Ensures tap room and spirits lounge cleanliness inside and out, best-in class customer experience, and 100% product quality at point-of-sale.
Prepares employee schedules, and ensures proper staffing during all shifts.
Holds regular staff meetings to foster transparent communication.
Maintains current inventory of all goods for sale and goods needed for bar service.
Coordinates and schedules special events, entertainment, and food trucks/ vendors.
Delivering operational leadership :
Develops and maintains standards operating procedures and practices.
Drives continuous improvement and utilizes analytics in decision making.
Implements and maintains a customer satisfaction program.
Monitors performance to make procedural improvements to maintain a strong, positive employee culture by focusing on retention, growth, and development.
Manages inventory and forecasting for on-site sales.
Provides operations reports weekly, monthly, and annually for review and planning.
Submits, approves, and tracks annual budget: Sales, Labor, and Cost of Goods Sold for tap room and spirits lounge.
Driving community involvement (events):
Creates, schedules and executes new, recurring, and annual events including, pairing dinners, private events, community events, and others with a focus on driving traffic and revenue.
Tracks and executes Special Membership Clubs, Loyalty, and Discount programs.
Fosters community outreach with other local businesses and community groups to continue supporting our core values as a community focused brand.
