Production Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Lamar, SC. The Production Manager position is full time and based at our facility in Lamar, SC. We are looking for someone who likes a challenging environment and is dedicated to accomplishing goals. This position will handle shop floor operations, supervision, and serve as a backup to the plant manager. The work schedule is to be determined.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.
Communicate effectively with team members about quality standards, safe working environment, state of business, policy and procedures, and production goals.
Lead and supervise production Team Members (e.g., interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training, documentation, counseling, coaching, promoting teamwork, motivating.)
Develop and manage work schedules while ensuring proper coverage for absences and guaranteeing that production targets are consistently met.
Prepare and present detailed production reports, ensuring that production schedules are established, followed, and continuously monitored for performance.
Coach and provide guidance to employees on work habits, personal conduct, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Serve as back-up for Plant Management.
Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting overall production goals and facility success.
Monitor and enforce performance metrics by evaluating facility performance data, providing constructive feedback, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure team members consistently meet production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
7-10 years’ experience in supervision of fabricating and welding manufacturing.
Good verbal and written skills in English; ability to work with all employees; Ability to utilize as well as create effective Excel spreadsheets. Use Word, Express Outlook, PowerPoint, MES, and Epicor.
High level of accuracy in basic math and use of 10 key calculator.
Proficient in reading blueprints.
Ability to associate cause and effect relationships and determine patterns of activity in anticipation of change to the operation or personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
