Large Established Firm in the Material Handling Industry has a fast growing product line that requires a Technical Support Manager to oversee all support services related to this business segment:
Broad Range of Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of New Installations – including:
o Set-up of New Equipment for Proper Operation
o Training of Client Company Operators and Maintenance Personnel
- Development of Training and Support Materials
- Management of Replacement Parts Business
- Help identify and train support partners in various regions of U.S., Canada, and Mexico
- Extensive Travel should be expected initially – but may diminish as position matures
Skills Required:
- Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
- Good Communication Skills to Conduct Training Sessions
- Familiarity with all Microsoft Office programs a necessity, and familiarity with AUTOCAD a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills will be required to manage anticipated increase in business volume and staffing.
Good Candidates may possess:
- Background of repair and supervision of repairs to modern electronic lift trucks or automated material handling or manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with PLC programming, sensors, timers, etc.
