Apply today! What You'll Do Post all accounts payable invoices accurately on a timely basis.
Ensure that all are coded to the proper accounts (follow the Uniform Accounting Guide) and are properly authorized.
Ensure monthly invoices are posted by the 3rd working day of the following month and all regular expense items (utilities, phone, building maintenance, etc.) are posted or accrued.
Reconcile discount vendors' statements to vendor report, complete vendor reconciliation sheet, prepare 10th of month checks and ensure mailing by the 10th of the month.
Verify that all discounts are taken.
Update list on a regular basis and review with purchasing agent.
Reconcile all other vendor statements to vendor report, complete vendor reconciliation sheet, prepare 20th of the month checks and mail by the 20th of the month.
Review vendor report monthly and reconcile as needed.
Reconcile vendor statements weekly / monthly and ensure payment is timely and accurate.
