Payroll Specialist – Fred Haas Toyota World
Our Toyota dealership is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Candidates with prior dealership experience and familiarity with CDK and Paylocity are preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for dealership employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and manage payroll records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilize payroll systems, including CDK and Paylocity, to support payroll and HR functions.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements for payroll processing.
- Coordinate with accounting and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in financial audits related to payroll.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in payroll administration are a plus.
- Prior experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CDK and Paylocity systems is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Education and/or Experience
- At least two years of payroll processing experience, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
