Position Summary:
Maintain accurate prices in the computer and verify correct hours are recorded for time and attendance. Role model and demonstrate the Company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.
Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
Essential Job Functions:
Model “Customer 1st” behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service Provide customer service
Comply with corporate policies and all safety guidelines/standards
Research price discrepancies to maintain scan integrity
Input all price changes, miscellaneous, and new item batches into the computer in the correct order
Sort, log, and distribute price change paperwork, labels, and tags
Conduct system backups for in-store processor
Maintain accurate, up-to-date price changes
Verify shelf and system prices match
Maintain item file by adding/deleting Price-Look Up codes (PLU) and Stock Keeping Units (SKU)
Run reports for location and verify accuracy
Research register over/shorts
Sort/distribute store mail
Provide time and attendance information to the Main Office
Run daily/weekly transaction reports and all required reports
Review paperwork for new associates
Maintain manual associate payroll/punch log; enter manually logged data into time and attendance system
Verify weekly time and attendance information and transmit payroll information
Promote and follow Company initiatives

Minimum Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months price changing/time & attendance experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum 18 years of age
Ability to pass drug test
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift, and overtime as needed
Maintain confidentiality
Accuracy/attention to detail
Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines
Desired Previous Job Experience:
Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
