We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and growing practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
- Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and partners.
- Stay up to date on legal trends and case law related to insurance defense.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation (bodily injury, property damage, general liability, or similar experience preferred).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Trial experience or a strong interest in trial work is a plus.
