Job Title: Finance Operations Manager
Location: Morgan Hill, CA (100% onsite)
Job Summary:
The Finance Operations Manager is responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance to support operational effectiveness and strategic decision-making. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial initiatives with business objectives, ensuring effective budget management, cost controls, and performance measurement. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Planning & Analysis
- Develop and manage annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts in coordination with operational leadership.
- Quantify and report business outcomes through KPIs and other financial metrics.
- Create business cases for key projects to support strategic growth and investment decisions.
Reporting & Insights
- Design and implement a reporting framework that translates data into actionable insights.
- Present high-impact financial analysis and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to guide financial policy, initiatives, and operational improvements.
Stakeholder & Compliance Management
- Act as a strategic finance business partner to internal teams, fostering strong working relationships.
- Identify and respond to the needs of key stakeholders through effective communication and engagement planning.
- Ensure compliance with all financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team responsible for finance, accounting, purchasing, and administrative functions.
- Promote continuous professional development and serve as a mentor for direct reports.
- Uphold safety standards and organizational values in all business practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, with a strong foundation in cost accounting.
- Advanced financial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience generating complex financial reports.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
