Job Summary
Our client, an established and progressive California workers’ compensation defense law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join their team in Orange County. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in workers' compensation defense which may have been obtained as a Legal Intern or Law Student. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive environment. The Junior Attorney will be mentored by a Senior Attorney and will be involved in all aspects of case handling.
Responsibilities
- Associate Attorneys manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills, with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work well independently and with others on a team of attorneys, legal and administrative assistants
- Attorneys who have recently been admitted to the California Bar are encouraged to apply and will have the opportunity to be mentored by some of the best workers' compensation defense attorneys in the state of California
- 6 months of post-bar admission workers' compensation defense legal experience is preferred
- An active California Bar membership in good standing is required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
