Our client, a leading general contractor, is seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in commercial and industrial construction. This role requires expertise in entitlements, CEQA processes, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage project entitlement and permitting processes, including coordination with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure CEQA compliance, including reviewing and managing Environmental Impact Reports and other technical studies.
- Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and work plans, proactively identifying risks and solutions.
- Lead and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical oversight by reviewing design drawings, construction plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project updates to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
✔️ 5 years of construction project management experience, with a focus on entitlement and permitting processes.
✔️ Strong knowledge of CEQA, Environmental Impact Reports, and infrastructure development.
✔️ Experience working with local jurisdictions, regulatory agencies, and permitting departments.
✔️ Proven track record managing commercial and industrial construction projects.
✔️ Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, SmartSheet, or similar).
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
