Description
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for daily operational helpdesk services at FPCA. Additionally, when time allows, this role will encompass server and storage management, as well as long-term IT projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Helpdesk support
- Install, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot computer hardware (servers, workstations, laptops, printers, fax machines, and peripheral devices), software, and basic networking devices (physical media, switches, access points, and routers); occasionally install, patch, and terminate Ethernet cabling.
- Email
- Manage Google Mail ("G Suite")
- Resolve user issues related to mailbox permissions and/or access
- Develop and manage distribution lists
- Active Directory
- Administer and maintain Active Directory including User and Computer objects
- Group Policy
- Modify existing Group Policy Objects; create and deploy new GPO’s
- Client machine deployment
- Image and clone new desktops and laptops
- Documentation
- Enhance and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding the IT infrastructure and environment.
- RingCentral
- Add new users and assign phones, assign extensions, manage phone queues, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
IT Support Technician Requirements include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of IT experience preferred
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Server 2008-2019 Operating Systems
- Proficiency with Linux preferred
- RingCentral proficiency preferred
- Programming experience with batch scripting, Powershell, and VBA
- Experience with VMWare ESXi and MS SQL Server
- Ability to independently resolve a variety of issues using internal and external resources
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service
Physical Demands and Work Environment include:
- Mobility within the work site is required.
- Must be able to sit and use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- Must be able to lift and move packages and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods using a computer in a typical office environment within a multi-level facility.
- Some activities require repetitive motion, reaching, pulling, or pushing.
- Access to a personal motor vehicle during scheduled work hours is required for travel to and movement within supported sites.
- Must be comfortable occasionally working in or near drywall, fiberglass, attics, and crawlspaces.
Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid driver's license is required
- CompTIA A and any Microsoft certifications are preferred
- Security is preferred
