TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE! The Fredericksburg Field House opened its doors in the fall of 2005. We offer leagues, camps, classes, clinics, and tournaments for youth and adults in soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, corn hole, and other social sports. We also host birthday and team parties, corporate events, and other organized activities. The Fredericksburg Field House stands at 75,000 square feet and has 2 large turf fields (soccer and field hockey), 1 small turf field, 3 regulation volleyball courts, 1 basketball court, multiple party rooms, and an indoor batting cage. Our guests are encouraged to visit our fully stocked kitchen and concessions stand and lounge. We have up to 6 free-standing bounce houses for children of ages up to 12 years of age. For entertainment, we have 4 flat screen TVs in the lounge and other TVs throughout the building. For the best indoor sports - TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE! The Fredericksburg Field House is currently looking for a Front Desk Attendant. The Front Desk Attendant provides the first point of contact for all guests at the Fredericksburg Field House (FFH). The attendant is expected to provide excellent guest service to all guests and to always display great knowledge of FFH programs. This part-time position reports directly to the Front Desk Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests and provide answers and directions as neededProvide courteous and friendly guest service to all FFH guestsRegister guests for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-ins, etc.Be knowledgeable of all FFH prices, leagues, and eventsProcess payments accurately and efficientlyMaintain an accurate drawer count at the beginning and end of each shiftDrop an accurate shift report at the end of each shiftOperate multi-line phonesFill out incident and accident reports and submit to proper Manager (Manager on Duty / Human Resources)Record and file waivers and birthday party sheetsMaintain confidentiality with guest and employee informationResolve all guest concerns and complaints and / or direct to appropriate ManagerKnow and enforce FFH policies and proceduresTour and register potential guest as membersMust have excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be extremely professional in appearance, demeanor, and communicationMust have strong leadership skillsMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be able to handle difficult and stressful situationsAble to multi-task and prioritizeMust be able to work well in a group settingAble to remain calm and focused in emergency situationsMust be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor and / or the General Manager
