What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treatment Assistant- Graveyard Shift position at Free by the sea?
Treatment Assistants provide an important support role for both clients and staff in our co-occurring substance use treatment facility. Here is a general idea of day to day tasks:
- Strong communication skills are key to provide information to the clinical team regarding client behaviors or needs.
- Possess the ability to handle various situations with a calming presence.
- Be comfortable working within a multifaceted team or individually.
- Monitor client and/or visitor activities on or offsite.
- Maintain professional boundaries.
- Monitoring clients and the facility for safety to include room checks, vehicle inspections, person searches, and facility rounds.
- Observe urinalysis collection.
- Medication observation.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, stand or sit for long periods of time, walking up/down stairs.
- Answer a multi-line phone and route calls as appropriate.
