The Service Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for increasing the patient count by educating the surrounding community, business, and healthcare related professionals while promoting our facility. The community marketer will develop marketing strategies and campaigns as necessary. The SDR collects information from referring professional or facilities then meets with potential patients and conducts pre-admission screenings as a liaison between the source and hospital to obtain minimum information in determining admission eligibility. The Representative assists with care alternatives for patients and families. The SDR communicates results of the prescreening process and recommendations to the patient/family and referral source per company policy. The Representative develops positive relationships with community resources and networks to provide a seamless continuum of care and maintain positive collaborative relationships. The ultimate goal of this position is to improve overall community life for all mental health patients referred to the organization.
Description of Duties Include but are not limited to:
develops and executes a growth marketing strategy
distributing brochures and promotional materials
edits and proofs all materials related to campaigns
documents and reports success of campaigns
performs other duties as assigned
conducts pre-admission screenings
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing preferred, or Business Development
License: N/A
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Sales or Development in healthcare and/or medical industry is required. Experience with a focus on healthcare minimum.
