Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead with Passion: Hire, train, and develop your dock staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule Savvy: Proactively manage staff schedules, ensuring efficient operations and resolving any staffing issues with ease. Confirm payroll accuracy and ensure everyone gets paid on time.
- Member First: Deliver an exceptional member experience, resolving issues that arise, and reporting all incidents promptly.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee dock operations, ensuring the site is safe, clean, and efficient for both staff and members.
- Boat Savvy: Perform basic boat maintenance, operate boats safely, and ensure proper fuel charging procedures. Ensure that staff are keeping boats clean and ready for use at all times.
- Team Player: Work on the docks as needed, when filling an open shift or training new hires.
- Event Enthusiast: Support local Freedom Boat Club events and various club activities.
- Fleet Champion: Maintain the fleet by conducting minor repairs, coordinating maintenance, and reporting any issues.
- Financial Finesse: Track and submit monthly expense reports on time for yourself and your docks.

Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma (minimum), degree preferred
Dock crew for busy boat club in Southport needed. Full time and Part time Dockhand available.
Applicant must possess excellent customer service skills as well as general boat knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
Job entails:
* assisting members on docks as well as helping to board and disembark the vessel
* movement of vessels around harbor. Must be at least 21 to drive our boats.
* boat fueling, and cleaning.
Candidate must be:
- energetic,
- outgoing,
- punctual,
- have a proven track record of excellence in job safety.
Position requires the ability to work outdoors daily, weekends and all summer holidays. Very friendly crew and pleasant working environment. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. EOE.
