Freedom Corrugated Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to maintain corrugated machines and other equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

Experience is preferred; however, recent trade school or high school graduates, with a minimum amount of experience, are encouraged to apply. Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot PLC’s and motors
• Working knowledge of computers in an industrial environment including hardware configuration and troubleshooting, software configuration and troubleshooting
• Network configuration and troubleshooting
• Reliable self-starter with at least 5 years’ experience.
• Corrugated experience is preferred; however, recent trade school or high school graduates, with a minimum amount of experience, are encouraged to apply. Additionally, applicants must be flexible and willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and overtime as needed. Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Must be flexible and able to work 2nd, 3rd shift, weekends and overtime, as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in relevant field will be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour (based on skill level)

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Open to 2^nd (2pm-10pm) and 3^rd shift hours (10pm-6am)
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
