What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Management Supervisor position at Freedom Fighting Missionaries?
The Case Manager will provide long-term, supportive case management services to FFM clients and their families offering ongoing support to assist with stabilization, and removing barriers to affordable housing, gainful employment, healthcare coverage, mental health services, and additional post-incarceration challenges. This role is not ideal for the person who wishes to have the same tasks and responsibilities every day or someone who wishes to solely focus on case management.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Experience working with and understanding the unique needs of the adult re-entry population,
specifically the barriers to housing and employment
- Ability to develop creative, goal-oriented, time-limited case plans that address various client
barriers to success
- Strong skills in the areas of decision-making, client engagement, crisis management,
motivational interviewing, and advocacy
- Superior organizational skills while managing an active caseload of up to 30 clients and their
families
- Proficiency using Google Suite, Zoho Creator and database systems or the ability to learn and
adapt quickly
- Comfortable using creative solutions to track and analyze client data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the FFM team, providing services in
coordination with partner agencies
- Conducts regular in-person post-placement visits, mitigates risks, and helps improve the
likelihood of housing retention
- Attend collaborative meetings and network with other agencies, coalitions, and partners
- Actively participates in staff meetings and training
- Perform related duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate Would:
- Have a demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse populations and groups
- Be trauma informed and client-centered
- Be familiar with motivational interviewing or have a willingness to learn
- Possess knowledge of harm reduction, client-centered methodology, and mass
incarceration/mass supervision
- Have a willingness to work a flexible schedule with some weekend events periodically
- Comfortable meeting in-person with clients at their homes
- Passionate about issues relating to social justice and incarceration
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or related field
- Maintain a valid driver license, and have access to reliable transportation
