Job Overview:
As an In Home Caregiver at Freedom Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, companionship, and ensure the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medication reminders as prescribed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field required
- Knowledge of geriatrics, hospital medicine, medical-surgical care, and outpatient settings is a plus
- Experience working in a clinic or Level I Trauma Center is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude towards providing care
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in caregiving is a plus
