Summary:

The Level I Business Rules Analyst is responsible for supporting the enterprise-wide business rules governance program. This position will collaborate with the governance team and business stewards to ensure that rules are valid and verified throughout their life cycle. This role will assist in the oversight and maintenance of rule related activities and project documentation in adherence to the governance process.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in research, analysis and maintenance of rules within FMCs business source rules repository. These rules are used for business policy, process and procedure enforcement and process automation.

  • Responsible for the administration of project documentation and rule traceability.

  • Organizes, coordinates and assists cross-functional activities in planning, development, and execution of Business Rules Governance oriented business processes at the operational level.

  • Integrates new or revised rules into the existing set of rules.

  • Ensures the consistency of business rules across functions and systems.

  • Will work as an instrumental participant in various projects related to rules governance.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to properly perform multiple duties at once.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a Four (4) year College or University.

  • 1 to 3 years of business experience

  • Experience in banking or mortgage industry is preferred

None Required

Work Complexity:

Problems and issues faced are general but require analysis of FFOC’s policies and procedures, as well as external best practices and regulations, to assess and resolve.
