The Service Technician is a key team member of our service department that will be responsible for maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce.

What you'll do:

• Perform oil changes, tire repair/replacement and alignment, and other basic maintenance of vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspection and test for needed adjustments prior to Quality Assurance.
• Inspect and perform trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors quality and safety standards, policies and procedures, and OSHA safety regulations and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
  
  
  

What you'll need:

• Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous technician experience a plus but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
• Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
• Valid MI Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
