The Server/Hostess is responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms and ensuring a high-end dining experience by managing reservations, welcoming guests, and maintaining meaningful interactions with residents and their guests. This position also requires the ability to effectively perform all Front of House (FOH) roles and assist in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties:
- Manages reservations efficiently to optimize dining room flow.
- Welcomes and interacts with residents and their guests, ensuring a personalized and engaging dining experience.
- Directs guests to their tables and assists with seating arrangements as needed
- Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
- Takes orders, provides service, and delivers requested items both graciously and courteously.
- Assists with dishes from tables during and after meal service.
- Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
