Looking for individuals to work both serving and hosting shifts. You will not be doing both at the same time. We need both server and host/cashier shifts covered. Must be willing to do both.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing outstanding customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest interactions will be key to ensuring satisfaction and repeat visits.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any special dietary needs.
- Handle phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and communicate any needs to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong English speaking skills. Spanish is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable/Resy, Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Must have professional, polish appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to help team members and contribute positively to the overall restaurant atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
