Position: Full-Time Line Cook
Shift: 11am-8pm, 5 Days/Week
Starting Pay: $19-$20 per hour

Our campus boasts almost 300 Independent Living apartments, 6 Assisted Living apartments, a 12-unit Memory Care Unit, and a 40-bed 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility.

Essential Job Duties
- Prepares ingredients for entrees, sets up workstation, and cooks menu items according to the guest specification- while also meeting health/safety guidelines.
- Prepares and serves various foods in assigned work situations including pantry, sauces, poultry, fish, and meat items.
- Able to comfortably cook on various stations including fry, sauté, grill, and oven.
- Follows proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, materials, and equipment to avoid unnecessary expenses and food waste.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, understand measurements/conversions.
- Six months' experience as a Line Cook in a fine-dining setting preferred
- Ability to interpret standardized recipes, instructions, specifications and standards.
