Line Cook

Position: Full-Time Line Cook Shift: 11am-8pm, 5 Days/Week Starting Pay: $20 per hour

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Line Cook experience required
• Experience as a line cook in a Fine Dining Establishment highly preferred
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, interpret recipes, and understand conversions required
• Completion of High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

Essential Job Duties

• Prepares ingredients for entrees, sets up workstation, and cooks menu items according to the guest specification- while also meeting health/safety guidelines.
• Prepares and serves various foods in assigned work situations including pantry, sauces, poultry, fish, and meat items.
• Able to comfortably cook on various stations including fry, sauté, grill, and oven.
• Follows proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, materials, and equipment to avoid unnecessary expenses and food waste.
