The Ops Assistant is responsible for preparing residential installation crews for pre-construction projects and managing regional inside operations and administrative duties. The ideal Ops Assistant has strong communication and customer services skills, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior project administrative experience looking to gain exposure in the solar industry!Job Duties : Managing the resolution of failed inspections and workmanship issues, including coordinating with customers, technicians, and subcontractorsServing as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, including managing schedules and ensuring that all work is completed to standardsOverseeing the pre-installation process for new construction homes, including coordinating with buildersProviding ongoing training and support to the regional team on safety and best practicesMonitoring regional production and inspection scheduling to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and on scheduleEnsuring that all customer systems are functioning properly by supervising the commissioning and inspections processes.Overseeing site assessments and the inspections process, including coordinating with customers and technicians to ensure that all necessary information is conveyedCarry out additional duties and responsibilities as needed or as directed by managementFlexibility to take on new tasks and responsibilities as they ariseRequirements : Bachelor's degree perferred1-2 years prior scheduling / project management experience Prior solar / construction experience strongly preferred Prior experience with scheduling and dispatching resources is preferredStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or G SuiteFamiliarity with CRM, EAM, and MRO software toolsStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectivelyExcellent communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work in a fast-paced environmentA valid driver's license and reliable transportationKnowledge, Skills and Atributes : Strong verbal and written skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use.Strong work ethic.Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.Ability to meet motor vehicle requirements and maintain a valid driver's license.Ability to perform normal office duties.Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine the accuracy of work.We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all our preferred experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes.
