Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Assist our engineering team in optimizing chemical processes used in composite materials manufacturing, including resin formulation, curing processes, and material handling. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Support Manufacturing Operations: Gain practical experience in composite boat manufacturing by assisting with production activities, process optimization, and quality control initiatives. Work on the shop floor alongside experienced technicians to learn about manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Conduct Testing and Analysis: Assist in conducting tests and experiments to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of composite materials and boat components. Collect data, analyze results, and present findings to the engineering team.
- Assist with Design Projects: Collaborate with our engineering team on design projects related to composite boat structures, systems, and components. Participate in brainstorming sessions, create CAD models, and contribute ideas for innovative solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, including design changes, test results, and project milestones. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Project Support: Provide support to engineering projects by performing tasks such as literature reviews, data analysis, and prototype development. Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements
Qualifications:
